If you are an avid viewer of Channel 5′s “Gadget Show” you may have noticed that a couple of weeks back while doing a report on online security they showed a freebiejeebies link. Now obviously this just isn’t on – people using Freebiejeebies like myself know for certain that the website isn’t a scam, and so do the freebiejeebies site owners.

Richard and a few of the exceem community therefore got on to the makers of the Gadget Show to put them straight, they all recived back an aplogy email – but in addition to that, check out the video below – whereby the Gadget Show actually apologise live on air for their mistake with linking to freebiejeebies to online scams.

Kudos Launch New Website

Freebiejeebies close competition site Kudos have just finished their long awaited update titled “Kudosv4″. The new design boasts more than just pretty graphics with some great improvements to the actual usabilty of the website – freebiejeebies could actually learn a few things here!

New offers have now been added to the Kudos arsenal to try and tempt more sign ups – they had been falling behind a bit with the amount of offers available compared to that of freebiejeebies, and with the loss of LOVEFiLM from all freebie networks, something had to be done pretty quick. Also added to KudosV4 are a load of new offers, including the FREE intuit offer that is proving to be extremely popular with freebie hunters nowadays.

On logging into my account I found out that I had one referral and one pending outstanding, so will be sending a little traffic their way over the next week or so, allowing me to cash out. The only downside to the changes ate Kudos is that the old £18 per referral rate has now dropped to the £17 that Freebiejeebies also go by.

Freebiejeebies Offer Update

Unfortunately it has been announced this week that LOVEFiLM are withdrawing their free offer from the Freebiejeebies network due to the bad conversion rate of people staying on after the free service ends. This is a big blow to the freebie community as LOVEFiLM was one of the major players in getting those all important greens. Luckily though, Freebiejeebies have also announced that some of the old popular offers have returned to try and balance this out!

Gala Bingo, Jackpotjoy and Coral have made a welcome return to the network meaning that there are some easy £5 offers now available, I will certainly be promoting these new offers over the coming months to make up for the removal of the LOVEFiLM free offer.

Firstly welcome to “the blog”. Here I will (try and) keep you all updated with my progress in the world of freebies! Allow me to enlighten you as to a little about my experience with these referral website. I have been freebie hunting a little over two years now on and off originally as a hobby, which has slowly transformed itself into an obsession… Stupidly I haven’t kept track of what I have actually achieved in my time collecting these free gifts, but off the top of my head the list would include, 2x Xbox 360′s, 2x Nintendo Wii’s, 2x 32″ LG HDTV’s, Bose iPod dock, iPod Nano, £3000+, Bissell Vacuum cleaner (yes a vacuum!), a 4 man tent, a new kitchen (!!), bathroom floor tiles. Looking at these items I just reeled off the top of my head, I really should sit down and work out the total I have saved through these sites at some point.

Anyway – to the future, I will now be using this blog to update you as and when I receive my latest free gift, and include the all important proof!
