Common Freebiejeebies Terminology
While browsing this site you may have seen posted various terms that you may not understand. Below is a short list giving details on all the common freebiejeebies terminology to bring you up to speed.
Verification is the period of time during which your account is checked to make sure our Terms & Conditions have not been breached. During verification, we also check that the referrals you have gained have also adhered to our Terms & Conditions. We verify the accounts every weekend and sometimes more frequently depending on workload. If, after the verification you have enough greens for your desired item, you can order it. If not, you will have to gain more sign ups or alternatively choose a different item which is worth less referrals.
A green is a person who has signed up under your referral link and has completed an offer. This will be indicated with a “Completed” next to the person’s e-mail address on your “Account Status” page.
A pending offer means that the user has signed up under your referral link, and completed an offer. We are now waiting to hear from our advertiser, who will let us know whether the user has completed the offer correctly. This status is indicated with a “Pending” next to the user’s email address on your “Account Status” page. The status will normally change to “Completed” or “Revoked” within 2 weeks. The offers on our websites with a “pending” status include:
– LOVEFiLM (sign up and rent at least ONE DVD)
– Gala Bingo (sign up, depost at least 5 and play it all through)
– Books Direct (sign up, receive and keep your two free books with £1.99 P&P)
When an offer is revoked, this means that the advertiser has decided not to pay us for completion of the offer for one of the following reasons:
1. The advertiser considers that the offer has not been completed correctly. For instance, sometimes with the casino sites, people wage £5 on red and £5 on black – the advertiser does not deem this to be gambling since the person is highly unlikely to lose. Alternatively, the required deposit has not been made, or played through in full.
2. The advertiser considers that one of their Terms & Conditions have been broken. One of the more common reasons that offers are revoked under this category is opening duplicate accounts with the offer company. We are unable to carry the full T&C on our site of each of the advertisers, but please familiarise yourself with these when you visit any of the offers advertised through the links on our site.
The offers are revoked by the advertiser. Freebiejeebies do not get paid for any offers that have been revoked and we are therefore unable to give credit for the offer completion, or count such offers as completed referrals. We also have no control over offers being revoked and we do not receive an explanation from the advertiser as to why the offer was revoked.
If you have had an offer revoked, this does not mean that you are deemed to have broken any of the freebiejeebies T&C and you may complete one of the other offers available through the links on our site in order for your status to be updated to ‘completed‘.
